I am currently working on a startup.
Previously, I was a principal research scientist at Autodesk AI Lab. I did research at Facebook with Shugao Ma, Nvidia with Sanja Fidler, Google with Utsav Prabhu and Andrew Gallagher, TTIC with Matthew Walter, and Volkswagen with Anh Vu.
I was a PhD candidate at University of Toronto studying computer vision. I worked with Raquel Urtasun and Sanja Fidler. Before that, I was a master student at Cornell University advised by Tsuhan Chen and Ashutosh Saxena. I worked with Weiyao Lin and Wu-Jun Li as an undergraduate at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
I co-host Daily Arxiv Radiostation with Ruotian Luo. We have been co-authoring the 7 Papers & Radios weekly column with Synced since 2019.
